Join us for the 27th Annual Eugene Celebration!
September 4, 5, 6, 2009!
Reflecting the times and Eugene's unique identity, the 2009 theme is "Strange We Can Believe In." A true grass-roots, community event, the Eugene Celebration seeks early input from the public to bring the theme to life. The board of directors is excited to announce a poster contest for which our community's talented and vibrant artists can submit work for consideration.

We take pride in offering sustainable options to celebration patrons as well as taking steps to improve the sustainability efforts of the City of Eugene. Bike valet service will be available at the event for those who choose to ride downtown, and please check back in early July to learn more about additional transportation services. We provide comprehensive waste sorting bins in the event for food compost, recyclables, and biodegradable waste. Additionally, learn about the sustainable efforts of businesses and non profits in the area at our Community Causeway and Sustainability Village.
The Eugene Celebration is managed by the all-volunteer Board of Directors for Downtown Events Management Inc (DEMI). Kesey Enterprises Inc. returns as the production company for this year's event. Together, DEMI and Kesey Enterprises Inc. are working hard to produce a community-building event that is fun for all ages. We are committed to producing a safe and fun event that brings the community together in downtown Eugene to celebrate the beautiful place we call home.
